Important notes
Carry out qualifying entrepreneurial activity in Georgia and provide proof of the business activity or registration used as the residence basis.
Register as a labour immigrant and obtain the current right-to-work authorisation where the selected activity requires it under Georgian law.
Provide a passport, proof of lawful stay, the approved application, a colour photograph, and the applicable service-fee receipt.
Show income from the Georgian entrepreneurial activity of at least five times the minimum subsistence level for an average consumer, or qualifying funds in a personal bank account.
Provide evidence that the enterprise's annual turnover is at least GEL 50,000 per applicant, or GEL 35,000 for an educational or medical institution.
Georgia's work residence permit is based on actual labour or entrepreneurial activity; registering a business by itself is not a general right to live and work remotely without the residence and work steps.
IT applicants have a separate IT residence-permit basis with additional evidence, including two years of IT experience and at least USD 25,000 equivalent in annual IT remuneration.
