Important notes
Provide a valid passport or other accepted identity document, Argentine criminal-record evidence, foreign criminal-record certificates for countries where you lived more than one year during the last three years, proof of address, and proof of regular entry.
Show stable rent of at least five Argentine Salario Mínimo Vital y Móvil per applicant; the prior-entry permit guidance describes the rent as payable for a period of at least two years.
Prove that the rent comes from assets in the applicant's patrimony, such as financial instruments, real estate, or company interests. Personal work remuneration is excluded from this category.
Show that the funds needed for the stay enter Argentina through banks or financial institutions authorised by the Central Bank, then file through RaDEX and attend the appointment if the application is accepted.
This is a genuine temporary-residence category under Article 23(b), but it is not a digital-nomad or freelance-work permit: income from personal work is expressly excluded.
Argentina publishes both a direct temporary-residence procedure stating one year renewable and a prior-entry-permit procedure stating up to three years. The filing route and the authority's decision control the final period.
