For French/Arabic, university, or exchange programs.
Route overview
School admission + residence card
Typical timeline / duration: 2-5 months
Important notes
Submit proof of admission/enrolment in Morocco, the two-copy registration-card application, recent photo, passport identity/entry/visa pages and the student entry visa when the nationality requires one.
Apply for the appropriate entry visa when the nationality requires one, then request the foreigner's registration card with the student purpose recorded where applicable.
Add a Moroccan lease/title or other stable-address proof, criminal-record copy, medical certificate and a bank certificate proving funds for the residence period.
Renew the registration card before expiry and keep the actual stay and activity consistent with the student purpose.
Morocco's foreigner-stay law distinguishes a registration card marked 'student' from cards for visitors or authorised professional activity; the administration may require a stay visa longer than three months.
Student status is not a general work or remote-work route. Paid work requires a separate authorisation and residence basis.
