Temporary stay for the purpose of study
Typical timeline / duration: University-study temporary stay can be granted for one year or study duration if shorter; up to two years for some mobility programmes.
Important notes
Visa-required applicants apply at the mission; visa-exempt applicants may apply in Croatia. Submit a valid passport, school proof of study/admission, accommodation, health insurance, proof of means and the application form.
Prove means with bank funds, income or a scholarship; health insurance must cover the temporary-stay period.
Study route; work rights depend on Croatian student/employment rules and should not be assumed.
