Important notes
- Acceptance into a full-time programme at an educational institution recognised by the IND as a sponsor.
- Proof of sufficient living funds for 12 months; for higher education the 2026 study norm is €1,130.77 per month, excluding tuition.
- Valid passport, required insurance, and the general residence conditions including public-order and TB rules where applicable.
- The recognised educational institution applies for the residence permit and MVV where required.
- The student permit normally covers the study duration plus three months, up to five years, while study progress conditions are met.
- Work is limited to 16 hours per week or full-time in the summer months and requires a work permit from UWV.
