Important notes

• Admission to a full-time higher-education programme at an approved Danish institution.
• Proof of sufficient funds: DKK 7,426 per month at the 2026 level, unless another accepted funding basis applies.
• Passport, admission evidence, application fee, biometrics, and the SIRI application documents; the institution normally completes its part of the application.
• For some programmes, confirm the current rules on work rights and accompanying family before applying.
• The normal processing time shown by SIRI is two months, with up to three months if further information is needed.
• A residence and work permit for a state-approved higher-education programme can allow eligible spouse/partner and children to accompany the student.
