Important notes
Have Georgian employment or another qualifying labour activity and provide a labour contract or equivalent employment document.
Register as a labour immigrant and obtain the current right-to-work authorisation where required.
Provide a passport, proof of lawful stay, the approved application, a colour photograph, and the applicable service-fee receipt.
Show monthly income or remuneration from the Georgian activity of at least five times the minimum subsistence level for an average consumer, or qualifying funds in a personal bank account.
Provide evidence that the employer's annual turnover is at least GEL 50,000 per applicant, or GEL 35,000 for an educational or medical institution.
The work residence permit is tied to the employment or entrepreneurial basis submitted to the Agency; it is not an open work permit for any employer or remote client.
IT employment has a separate IT residence-permit basis and may require two years of IT experience, USD 25,000 equivalent in annual IT remuneration, and the right to work.
