Identify an occupation or qualification on the current South African Critical Skills List and provide evidence that the applicant meets the listed qualification and professional requirements.
Obtain the required evaluation of foreign qualifications by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA), plus confirmation from the relevant professional body or government department where the occupation requires it.
Submit the temporary-residence visa application with passport, medical and police-clearance documents, proof of funds, photographs, and the current points or mission checklist evidence.
If the application is based on employment, provide the compliant South African job offer or contract and employer undertaking required for that case; after grant, work only in the permitted field and comply with any employment deadline.
