- Have a qualifying high-skilled technology or specialist job offer from a Canadian employer using the Global Talent Stream.
- Meet the stream's wage, occupation, employer, recruitment, and LMIA requirements, including Category A or Category B criteria where applicable.
- Submit the work-permit application and supporting identity, qualification, biometrics, medical, and police documents as required.
- Global Talent is an LMIA stream, but it is not the same as the ordinary LMIA-supported work route.
- The permit remains tied to the approved employer and job.
