Route overview
Tech, research, arts, or culture endorsement
Typical timeline / duration: 2-6 months
Important notes
- Be aged 18 or over and work in an eligible field such as science, engineering, medicine, digital technology, or arts and culture.
- Usually obtain endorsement from the relevant authorised endorsing body, or qualify through a listed prestigious prize.
- Submit the endorsement evidence and then the visa application, including passport, biometrics, and the applicable fee and Immigration Health Charge.
- Apply for the visa within three months of the endorsement letter where endorsement is used.
- Global Talent is not tied to one employer and can lead to settlement; the qualifying period depends on the endorsement/prize basis.
- An endorsement does not itself guarantee the visa, and the evidence rules differ by field and endorsing body.
